Comedian David Cross brings tour to York

After five years away from the stage, comedian David Cross is back and he’s bringing his comedy stylings to York.

Cross, best known as the lovable Tobias Fünke on “Arrested Development,” will perform at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 4 at Penn State York’s Pullo Center, according to a news release.

The comedian last toured in 2009 in support of his New York Times Bestseller “I Drink for a Reason.” His comedy special “David Cross: The Pride is Back,” which aired on HBO in 1999, was named one of the 25 best stand-up specials of all time by Rolling Stone.

Cross is also known as half of the creative duo behind “Mr. Show with Bob and David” and for appearances in films, including “Men in Black I & II,” “Kill Your Darlings,” “Pitch Perfect 2” and “Kung Fu Panda,” the release said.

Tickets for the show are $45 and $58 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 15.
