What is the FlipSide Panel doing this weekend?

Each week, some York County locals share what they are doing this weekend. Some favor art, theater, craft beer, wine or music. Some simply like finding something different to do each week. Whatever your interest, see what they're up to this weekend in January - it might help you plan your Friday or Saturday night.

Jeff Gochoco, craft beer guy: This week, my siblings will be in town from all over the country to celebrate my dad's birthday. We are having a smaller dinner party at The Eagles Nest.

Mary Yeaple, parade lady: I plan on checking out the new Fifth Friday specials in downtown York. Great food and drink specials for $5 at five downtown locations.

Kate Harmon, downtown enthusiast: Saturday, I'll be going to the York Beard and Mustache Club meet up at Liquid Hero. You don't have to have facial hair to be a fan of these bearded men.

Mike and Sue Edmonds, love spending time together: We will likely stay in and finish our latest Netflix binge. Last weekend we started watching "Lilyhammer," which stars Steven Van Zandt, the actor who is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. Van Zandt plays a New York mobster who testifies against another wise guy, joins the witness protection program and hides out in snowy Lillehammer, Norway. He sticks out like a sore thumb.
