Chris Ruble headlines veterans benefit in Mount Wolf

Country musician Chris Ruble is set to headline this year’s These Colors Don’t Run Benefit.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Keystone Warriors, a Pennsylvania-based veterans support organization for military personnel wounded in the line of duty since 9/11. These Colors Don’t Run has raised more than $70,000 for the group in four years.

This year’s event will be 6 p.m. April 23 at the Royal Manchester Golf Links, 5700 Board Road, Mount Wolf. Tickets are $25 at eventbrite.com.

A Reedsville, Pa., native and singer-songwriter, Ruble travels with a five-piece band and performs original works and covers. His self-titled album was released in 2013.

A red carpet experience will kick off the gala, which will include hors d’oeuvres from Mission BBQ of York, cash bar, photo booth, a mini fashion show and silent auction.

Special guests will include the USA Cheerleaders, Ms. Motorama 2016, Ms. Pennsylvania American Beauty 2016 Jannese Wood, and Heels for Combat Boots.
