Green beer, bangers and mash and Irish tunes are headed your way this weekend.
Here's how to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in York.
York Saint Patrick’s Day Parade – March 12
Dig your green out of the closet and kick off your St. Patrick’s Day celebration at downtown York’s annual parade. About 10,000 people are expected to turn out, so be sure to arrive early so you don’t miss any of this year’s 90 entries. The parade steps off at 1 p.m. from Market and Penn streets and proceeds east on Market to Duke Street. Pre-parade festivities, including caricatures, face painting, balloon twisting and Irish dance and music performances, start as early as 11 a.m.
Tannenberg Organ concert – March 12
Stop by the York County Heritage Trust’s Historical Society Museum, 250 E. Market St., for a free pre-parade Tannenberg Organ concert. Saint Patrick’s Day-themed music begins at 10:30 a.m. Visit www.yorkheritage.org for details.
Irish food and music at Mudhook Brewing Co. – March 12, 17
Start your day off with an Irish breakfast sandwich, platter or bowl and a pint of Redeye Irish Red, starting at 7 a.m. at Mudhook Brewing Co., 34 N. Cherry Lane. Shepherd’s pie, bangers and mash and Irish stew will also be on the menu for lunch and dinner, followed by live music from the JC Fisher Band from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. March 12 and The Akt from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. March 17.
Bangers and mash will also be served at Holy Hound Taproom, 57 W. Market St., all day March 12.
Outdoor bar and music at White Rose Bar & Grill – March 12
White Rose Bar & Grill brunch specials will begin as early as 8 a.m. But if you stop by after 11 a.m., you can enjoy an outdoor bar and traditional Irish music in the parking lot at 48 N. Beaver St. East Berlin rock band Deep Six will perform at 2 p.m.
St. Patty’s Day Celebration at Liquid Hero Brewery – March 12
Singles St. Patrick’s Dance – March 13
More than 200 singes over the age of 40 are expected at Pat’s Singles Club’s annual St. Patrick’s Day dance from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Sunday. The dance, held at American Legion Post 26, 301 U.S. 15 S., Dillsburg, will feature will feature oldies and contemporary hits performed by Rumor Has It. Admission is $12 at the door. Tutoni’s St. Francis’s Day – March 17

Granfalloons, 41 E. Princess St., will offer $0.50 Natty Boh drafts from 8 to 11 p.m. and special appearances by St. Natty and DJ Hawk at 8 p.m.

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at the Theater of the Seventh Sister's performance of "The Irish and How They Got That Way." This thought-provoking musical will be held at Ephrata Main Theatre, 124 E. King Street Seisiún – March 20
Annie Bailey's Irish Pub and Tellus360 are teaming up with the Lancaster Office of Promotion to bring an all-things Irish block party to the zero block of East King Street. The party, held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., will include a lineup of live Irish music, an Irish menu from Annie Bailey's and Tellus360 and two beer trucks, featuring Irish favorites, such as Guinness Stout, Magners Irish Cider, Smithwick's Irish Red Ale and Harp Lager. Rhythm in the Night – March 18
Don't miss this Irish dance spectacular coming to Hershey Theatre, 15 E. Caracas Ave., Hershey. The show starts at 8 p.m. and is described as a re-imagination of traditional Irish dance that takes the audience on a fallen hero's journey to redemption. St. Patrick’s Day Party – March 12
Live music by Irishtown Road, food, raffles and a cash bar will kick this St. Patrick’s Day bash into gear at 7 p.m. Adams County Ancient Order of Hibernians’ annual event will be held at the Knights of Columbus Council #2551, 342 Main St., McSherrystown.
