Hang out, have a beer at York Bros' Night
Girls have girls’ nights. Why can’t guys have a guys’ night?
That was the thinking behind Jeff Gochoco’s recently formed Bros’ Night – a chance for guys to hang out, meet new people and network at a York County bar or restaurant once a week.
“It’s a no rules club,” Gochoco, of Springettsbury Township, said. “Just a time for guys to get together and talk about whatever.”
Bro’s Nights are held every Thursday at a different location each week.
This week’s event will be held at BrewVino, a hand-crafted pizza joint in downtown York.
People typically arrive between 6 and 7:30 p.m., Gochoco said.
“It’s come when you want to come, stay as long as you want and hang out,” he said. “It’s just a fraternity of support.”
Anyone is welcome to attend and invite friends, Gochoco said. The group currently has close to 150 members on its Facebook page and is looking for more.
“I do these things just to get people together,” Gochoco said, “but if I can bring in people that I didn’t know before, that’s perfect. That’s my goal.”
