Upcycled Art Show and Silent Auction

Gettysburg: In honor of Earth Day and to embrace the concept of recycling and reusing, the Adams Rescue Mission will host an upcycled art show from 4 to 8 p.m. April 17 through 22 at the Agape House meeting room, 114 Chambersburg St. This event will feature local designers, artists, and crafters with an opportunity to vote for your favorites. Cleaning of the Hanover Junction Train Station

Codorus Township: Come out to assist in preparing the station for its opening in May from 5 to 8 p.m. April 19 at the Hanover Junction Train Station along Route 616. Bring your favorite supplies to clean the walls, floors and windows. We will also clean the display cabinets using special cleaner. Pizza, subs and drinks will be supplied. Riverdance

York: Riverdance, the international Irish dance will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. April 19, 20 and 21 at the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center, 50 N. George St. Drawing on Irish traditions, the combined talents of the performers propel Irish dancing and music into the present day, capturing the imagination of audiences across all ages and cultures. WeeUsables consignment sale

West Manchester Township: Shop for gently used baby, children’s and maternity merchandise from 3 to 8 p.m. April 21, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. April 22, and 8 a.m. to noon April 23 at the York Expo Center, Old Main Building, 334 Carlisle Ave. Remaining merchandise will be sold at $10 per bag from 5 to 6 p.m. April 23, with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting  A Week Away, a charity that provides a week of peace in the chaotic lives of families battling a life-threatening illness. Fourth Friday Feast: Spring Edition

Columbia: A variety of food trucks and vendors will offer a feast from 5 to 7:30 p.m. April 22, lining the 400 block of Locust Street in downtown Columbia. Dine under the stars in the street which is closed to traffic for this event. Tables will be set up so that the public can sit with their friends and family while enjoying the delicious food purchased. Restrooms will be available for use. Earth Day Festival

Mechanicsburg: Celebrate the earth from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 23 in downtown Mechanicsburg. The annual Earth Day Festival will include music, vendors, workshops and a variety of kids’ activities.
