A new art installation outside Creative York will be used to advertise classes and shows, education director Mindy Christian said.
The installation, resembling a phone booth and produced by Salvaging Creativity artists Pat Sells and Casey Tyrrell, is part of the North Beaver Street art gallery's recent renovations.
Two sides of the installation feature metal gears, grates and other salvaged items, all painted black, against translucent glass panes. Christian said the other two sides of the installation, which is not yet complete, will display poster advertisements for Creative York.
