FlipSidePA will have a new editor next week

Friday is my last day working at the York Daily Record.

I’ve held a number of positions during the last four years, from page designer to reporter to FlipSidePA editor. I’ve judged parades, hosted events and popped up at FlipSidePA happy hours across southcentral Pa. Behind the scenes, I’ve worked with talented reporters and editors to make FlipSidePA a trusted entertainment brand.

I’ve also seen York become a destination for entertainment.

It’s been fun. It’s been rewarding. It’s been life changing.

Monday is my first day working as a multimedia journalist at USA TODAY in McLean, Va. It’s an amazing opportunity, and I’m excited for a new challenge.

But I’ll miss my YDR family, and I’ll miss you, too.

Thank you for making my job important. Thank you for supporting our entertainment news and being a part of our expanding readership. I've appreciated your kind emails and calls, and I know that you’ll be in good hands moving forward.

With that, let me introduce your next FlipSidePA Editor: Skye Leppo. She’s smart, creative and fearless. I know you will welcome her with open arms.
