FlipSide panel picks, July 21-24

Each week, some York County locals share what they are doing this weekend. Some favor art, theater, craft beer, wine or music. Some simply like finding something different to do each week. Whatever your interest, see what they're up to this weekend in July — it might help you plan your Friday or Saturday night. Want to join the panel? Lyn Bergdoll, theatre lady: I am really looking forward to seeing "The Little Mermaid" this weekend.  It will be presented by the Acts of Kindness Theatre Company at the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center on Friday, July 22-24 and July 29-31. Everyone loves the music and the dancing in this magical Disney tale. What  better way to celebrate the summer than “Under the Sea”!

Todd Fogdall, avid outdoorsman and Strand-Capitol CEO: We have friends in town from Minnesota and plan to introduce them to Central Market, some good PA beer and a trip to Gettysburg. Maybe some hiking at Rocky Ridge County Park if time allows.

Kelley Gibson, artsy mom: This Friday the Gibson clan will be aboard the Pride of the Susquehanna river boat cruise to celebrate my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. Saturday, we’ll head to the Foundry Park boat basin downtown for the July Creek Fire event starting at 7 p.m.

Gretchen Kowalik, downtown enthusiast: The upcoming weekend I will be exploring the Baltimore Aquarium with a few friends. I'm thinking we'll do dinner down there as well. On Sunday I will be watching As You Like It in Cousler park with some friends from York Young Professionals! A busy, but fun weekend!

Carol Oldenburg: Golden ticket! Golden Ticket! GOLDEN TICKET!! I'll be joining the 275th Anniversary celebration on Saturday.

Meagan Feeser: I'll be leading the rescheduled Downtown York Pokemon Go Lure Party on Saturday morning!

Kristen Evans: This weekend, I am going to be downtown for the Pokemon lure party on Saturday morning. Then, while near Caledonia State Park, we’ll make a stop at Shakemore music festival in Shippensburg.

Raquel Lilly: This weekend I'll be celebrating my birthday with family and friends, hopefully hitting the beach in Ocean City, Md.
