Take your kids on an arts and crafts tour of York
Just because summer vacation is ending doesn’t mean all the fun has to stop.
Downtown Inc. will keep the good times going with a downtown walking tour this September just for kids and their parents.
The tour, scheduled for 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, will feature four downtown stops where kids can make items they can play with, take home or eat.
Downtown Inc.’s first Kids Downtown Walking Tour held in May took families to places like York City Pretzel Company, YorKitchen, Creative York and Sunrise Soap Company, where they made pizzas, bath fizzies and more.
But September’s tour will focus on arts and crafts like stained-glass kites and owl masks in the Royal Square District of downtown York.

The tour will start from the Royal Square District parking lot next to Didi and Smiling John’s Barber Shop.
Tickets are $20 for children and free for parents. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
