Dine in the middle of a city street at this York dinner

Couldn’t get tickets to York’s 275th Birthday Bash this summer?

Well, now’s your second chance this year to enjoy an outdoor community dinner in the center of a city street.

More than 200 diners are expected to take over North Beaver Street in downtown York on Sunday, Oct. 2 for the fourth annual Farm to City Street Dinner, according to a news release.

This unique dining experience in the middle of one of York’s busiest streets will include a locally sourced and freshly made family-style meal; local beer, cider and wine; a silent auction and musical entertainment.

The dinner, held at 2:30 p.m., will be catered by York County Buy Fresh Buy Local partnering restaurants and farms and will include produce and ingredients donated by more than 30 local farms and vendors, the release said.

Tickets are $75 and are available at www.farmtocityyork.com.

Proceeds benefit York County Buy Fresh Buy Local.
