7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20

The parade steps off from Dallastown High School and travels down South Walnut Street, Main Street and South Pleasant Avenue before returning back to the school.


2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16

The parade starts south of the borough on North George Street and continues through the borough to Mount Wolf.


2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30

The parade begins at the York Fairgrounds and travels east on Market Street from Richland Avenue to Broad Street in downtown York. This year's theme is "Dreams for a Future York" in honor of the city's 275th anniversary. A Family Fun Zone with inflatables, games, activities and music will also be set up on te corner of Market Street and Pershing Avenue from 1-3 p.m.

Movie in the Park: 'The Goonies'

Bring blankets and lawn chairs for a free showing of "The Goonies" at dusk Saturday, Oct. 22 at Lehr Park, 3700 Davidsburg Road, Dover. Food trucks will also be available. Rain location is inside the Community Building.

First Church of the Brethren Trick-or-Trunk

Families can enjoy decorated car trunks, refreshments, hay rides and surprises from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 at First Church of the Brethren, 2710 Kingston Road, York.

Pinchot Park Trunk-or-Treat

Children can visit decorated vehicle trunks to receive candy and other goodies at this free Trunk-or-Treat event from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26 at Pinchot Park Assembly of God, 2755 Rosstown Road, Wellsville.

Halloween in the Park 

Enjoy a magic show, face painting, balloon creations, hayrides, trunk-or-treat and more from 5-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28 at Brookside Park, 4054 Fox Run Road, Dover. Bring a canned good for the local food bank and you'll get a free hot dog or drink.

Warrington Township Trunk-or-Treat

Warrington Township and St. Michael's Lutheran Church will host a trunk-or-treat night with a haunted trail, snacks and desserts from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28 in the Township Park. Parking will be available at St. Michael's and Country Clippers.

Downtown York Trick-or-Treat

Children and families of all ages are invited to explore downtown York and collect goodies from participating local vendors from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29. Click here for a list of participating locations.

St. Peter's Lutheran Trunk-or-Treat

Bring your children dressed in costumes for St. Peter's Lutheran Church's Trunk-or-Treat event from 5-6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 at 947 N. George St., York. Anyone who brings a non-perishable food item for the York County Food Bank will receive a prize.

Christ Lutheran Trunk-or-Treat

From noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, enjoy a haunted house, trunk-or-treating and concessions at Christ Lutheran Church and Preschool, 105 S. Main St., Shrewsbury. Children are encouraged to come in costume.

St. John Lutheran Trunk-or-Treat

Children 12 and under and their families can enjoy games, crafts, activities and food from 4-5:30 p.m. and trunk-or-treating from 5:30-6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 at St. john Lutheran Church, 2580 Mt. Rose Ave., York. Fun, non-scary costumes are encouraged.

Friendship Community Trunk-or-Treat

Come in costume for trunk-or-treating, games, pumpkin decorating, bounce houses and more from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30 at Friendship Community Church, 3380 Fox Run Road, Dover.

Daybreak Church Trunk-or-Treat

Enjoy bounce houses, balloon animals, candy and chances to win prizes at Daybreak Church's Trunk-or-Treat. The event runs from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30 at York County School of Technology, 2179 S. Queen St., York

St. Mark's Trunk-or-Treat

Members of St. Mark's Lutheran Church will decorate their cars and distribute candy and treats from their trunks from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31 at 700 E. Market St., York. A prize will be awarded for the best decorated car.
