For years, Maroon 5 fans have asked how the band got its name.

Some believe the name comes from the fact that some of the band members attended Five Towns College in Long Island, and the school's colors are maroon and white.

But Levine has said in numerous interviews that he'll never reveal the story behind the name, so fans might never know.

Plenty of other bands with numbers in their names have revealed their stories over the years.

Take this quiz and see if you can guess the origins of these band names.
