Former 'Voice' finalist James Wolpert to return home for concert

Former "The Voice" finalist and Lancaster County native James Wolpert will return home for a live benefit concert this month.

Before his appearance on "The Voice," Wolpert - who graduated from Lampeter-Strasburg High School - performed on the Ephrata Performing Arts Center stage as the lead in "Altar Boyz" and "High School Musical."

Now, after his fifth place finish on NBC's "The Voice" in 2013 and the release of his first full-length album, "The Entire City," earlier this year, Wolpert will return to EPAC, 320 Cocalico St., Ephrata, on Wednesday, Oct. 21, according to a news release.

The show is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

The concert will benefit EPAC's Annual Fund to bring theatrical productions to the Sharidan Bigler Theatre.

Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at ephrataperformingartscenter.com or by calling 717-733-7966 ext. 1.
