Chase Rice to perform at 2016 York Fair

The York Fair is kicking off the new year with its first grandstand concert announcement of 2016.

Country singer Chase Rice will perform at the fair at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, according to a news release.

Rice, known for co-writing the Florida Georgia Line single “Cruise,” released his latest album “Ignite The Night” in 2014. The album includes the single “Ready Set Roll.”

“Survivor” fans might also remember Rice as the runner-up on “Survivor: Nicaragua” in 2010.

Tickets to the show are $20-$30 for the side plaza, center grandstand and side grandstand seating areas and $35 for the pit (standing on the track) and center plaza.

Tickets go on sale at 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2 and can be purchased at the York Fair Box Office, by phone at 717-848-2033 and online at www.yorkfair.com.

All grandstand show tickets include the gate admission fee, except for “will call” tickets.
