Paula Abdul to headline Hershey Mixtape Festival

Paula Abdul is stepping out of the judge’s chair and back onto the stage.

The pop star – known for her ‘80s and ‘90s music and choreography as well as stints as an “American Idol” and  “So You Think You Can Dance” judge – will headline Hersheypark Stadium’s annual Mixtape Festival Aug. 6.

Billed as the largest pop festival in the country, the festival will see the return of New Kids on the Block, Boyz II Men and 98 Degrees alongside festival newcomers O-Town, Ryan Cabrera and Dream, according to a news release.

The festival will mark Dream’s first performance since 2001 and one of New Kids on the Block’s only show dates of 2016.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 29 and will be available on Ticketmaster.com, HersheyEntertainment.com, at the Giant Center Box Office or by phone at 800-745-3000.
