Lamar Odom used cocaine, up to 10 sexual performance supplements before hospitalization
PAHRUMP, Nev. - Lamar Odom took cocaine and as many as 10 sexual-performance supplements leading up to his hospitalization in Las Vegas, according to a dramatic 911 call released Wednesday by the Pahrump Sheriff's Department.
Odom, the former NBA player and husband of reality television star Khloe Kardashian, was rushed to a medical facility after being found unresponsive by staff at a brothel known as the Love Ranch, in Crystal, Nev., around 70 miles from Las Vegas.
Sheriff Sharon Wehrly said two employees of the Love Ranch had stated Odom was unresponsive when they called 911 on Tuesday afternoon at 3:15 p.m. and informed dispatch of his drug use.
"They confirmed his usage on Saturday but were unsure if it had continued throughout the weekend," Sheriff Werhly said. "They also informed dispatch that he had used up to 10 tabs of sexual performance supplements."
One of the callers, Richard Hunter, the media director for the establishment, said on the 911 call that light red fluid and then white matter was oozing out of Odom's nose as he awaited the arrival of medical staff.
Police understand that the supplements were legal and were obtained from the Love Ranch.
The sheriff's department were unable to provide further information on Odom's condition but revealed contact has been made with one member of the Kardashian family, and that the person was "understandably distraught."
Khloé Kardashian has dropped everything and flown to be at Odom's bedside.
Khloé has not posted any news related to his condition on her social media accounts, however.

TMZ.com reports the family flew to Vegas aboard a private jet within two hours of hearing the news. The site published a photo of a distraught Kris Jenner pacing outside the hospital.
After a month of dating, Odom's 2009 wedding to Khloé was filmed for the family reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and he was occasionally seen on that show and the spin-off Khloé & Lamar until their 2013 separation, prompted by his relapse into substance abuse. At that point, she petitioned to legally change her surname back to Kardashian.
On Tuesday, E! re-aired a "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" episode in which Kim warned her sister about keeping in touch with Odom. In an interview with producers, Khloé made it clear that she didn't talk to him because she wished to rekindle their relationship; rather, she remained concerned about his well-being: "I love Lamar and care about him a lot; it makes me feel good to hear his voice and to know he is doing OK."
Later in the episode, Odom called her after a lifelong friend died. She expressed concern about what it might mean for his mental state and sobriety, noting, "I'm really on high alert for Lamar because anything will set him to spiral and that's the last thing I want for him."
TMZ edited the relevant clips together and posted the video on its website.
Television network E! says it's praying for Odom, a former star of the "Khloé & Lamar" series who also appeared on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." The network says it's not filming the Kardashians or Odom during this ordeal.
In a telephone interview with Good Day New York on Wednesday, brothel owner Dennis Hof said that Odom had not been drinking excessively or doing drugs but confirmed he did appear upset after receiving a phone call Sunday regarding the Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode.
For Odom, who lost his mother to cancer as as pre-teen and was estranged from his drug-addicted father, the Kardashians gave him a sense of family he'd long been lacking. He has two children with ex-girlfriend Liza Morales. The third, son Jayden died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome in 2006.
In addition to the Kardashians, Odom has received visits from former Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant, with whom he'd won two NBA championships and an Olympic bronze medal, and Rev. Jesse Jackson.
Jackson told the Associated Press that Odom appeared to be doing better Wednesday than when he arrived at the hospital. "He at least has some responsiveness now."
Of the mood in the hospital room, Jackson said, "We're just holding hands and hoping he can bounce back."
