Student banned from prom wears tux on 'Always Sunny'

Harrisburg student Aniya Wolf wore the suit that got her kicked out of prom on set of 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."

Go to the prom or spend a day on the set of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”?

We now know which one Bishop McDevitt High School student Aniya Wolf would choose.

Wolf, who was kicked out of her high school prom earlier this year for wearing a suit, was invited to appear on the show by creator Rob McElhenney.

“Aniya, I love your suit. Would u like to wear it on Sunny?” he tweeted in May.

Wolf, of course, said yes. And on Thursday, she got that chance.

She tweeted several photos of herself wearing her suit on the set in Philadelphia Thursday night, including one with McElhenney and actor Charlie Day.

“I can honestly say this was way better than prom,” she tweeted with the photos. “Thank you so much @RMcElhenney for a day I will never forget.”

In a recent Entertainment Tonight interview with the “Always Sunny” cast, McElhenney said he invited Wolf to the set because he felt like the show needed “a little more class.”

“We embrace everybody,” Danny DeVito said in the interview. “Doesn’t matter if you’re wearing a tuxedo, jockey shorts, underwear, you don’t wear underwear… What’s the big deal? We’re people!”
