Hanover Little Theatre's shows benefit Relay for Life

Hanover Little Theatre will continue its efforts to aid local nonprofit organizations by donating part of its ticket proceeds from an upcoming production to the Hanover Relay for Life event.

When the theater presents Ray Cooney's "Run For Your Wife" on Nov. 14, each ticket sold that day will result in a $4 donation to the organization. The theater will donate $2 per ticket, and an anonymous patron will match that gift.

"Run for Your Wife," directed by Mark C. Franceschini, is a British farce that follows the double life of John Smith, a London taxi driver running two households. Michael Baker stars as Smith and is joined by cast members Nikki Bull, Vanessa Burke, Jeb Beard, Shane Jacoby, Donovan Snyder and Kathy Blake.

The production is Hanover Little Theatre's fifth show through which it has worked with a local nonprofit organization to raise money. The charitable shows have brought in almost $2,000 for nonprofits.

Performances are scheduled for 8 p.m. Nov. 13,14 and 19 through 21. A reception will follow the opening night performance. Matinee shows are scheduled for 2 p.m. Nov. 15 and 22.

In addition to proceeds benefiting the cause on Nov. 14, patrons will be able to donate during the six other performances.

Tickets are available online at hanoverlittletheatre.com or by calling 717-637-5297. Admission for adults is $12, and discounts are available for seniors, students and groups of 10 or more.
