Totem Pole offers 'pay what you can' July 3
FAYETTEVILLE - Guests to Totem Pole Playhouse's production, "Forever Plaid," at 2 p.m. July 3 are invited to "pay what you can."
Tickets will be sold exclusively at Totem Pole's box office beginning at 11 a.m. All available seats will be sold to patrons for whatever amount they are able to afford to pay.
This is the third year Totem Pole has offered the special offer during the Fourth of July weekend.
“We are pleased to continue a tradition which began my first season at the playhouse of offering folks on a limited budget the opportunity to see one of Totem Pole’s high quality musical productions over the Fourth of July weekend," said Totem Pole’s Producing Artistic Director Rowan Joseph.
The summer theater will offer the popular musical "Forever Plaid," featuring a cast of four current students from the prestigious Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Louis Griffin, Derek Kastner, Stavros Koumbaros, and Gabe Wrobel as the ‘Four Plaids’ – a four-part close harmony singing group in the tradition of the Four Freshman, the Four Lads, the Four Aces, and the Hi-Lo’s.
The show features over 20 hit songs from the 1950s including such classics as: “Three Coins in the Fountain,” “Heart and Soul,” “Moments to Remember,” “Perfidia,” and “Love is a Many Splendored Thing.”
The show, which is being produced by Theatre A Go-Go, Inc., is sponsored by Edward Jones and Richard’s Orthopaedic Center and Sports Medicine. Franklin County Visitors Bureau serves as the sponsor for the 2016 season.
