Learn to make a leprechaun house

WAYNESBORO - Students aged 5-13 are invited to create a leprechaun house at the Ceramics Arts Center, 13 S. Church St., Waynesboro, from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27.

Instructor Heather Forberger will provide step by step guidance as participants build their own unique leprechaun house using the slab and sculpture techniques. Students will use basic shapes and textures and will paint the house with bright glaze colors to give it their own personal touch. All creations made at the Ceramic Arts Center are made with stoneware clay and are fired two times, creating a durable piece of art.

The class is limited to 10 children and costs $25, which includes instruction, all materials, glazes and firings. To register go to www.ceramics-nccs.org.
