Drink beer in a York museum at craft brew fest

There will be an additional attraction in the York County Heritage Trust Agricultural & Industrial Museum this summer -- craft beer.

Yes, somewhere between the three-century-old steam engines and farm tools, will sit craft beer and food vendors. Just for one day.

History Untapped: An Artisan Beer Affair is a fundraising event that boasts a more intimate appeal, with a focus on pairings. The event is from 5 to 9 p.m. June 11 at the museum, 217 W. Princess St., York.

This year, organizers are working to bring more local brews and food options, according to a press release.

Tickets go on sale to Trust members April 29 and to the public on May 6. Tickets, $55 for Trust members and $65 for the public, may be purchased online at  www.yorkheritage.org or from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays at the Historical Society Museum, 250 E. Market St., or 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays at the Agricultural & Industrial Museum. Tickets will not be available at the gate.

You must be 21 or older to attend.

Proceeds from History Untapped benefit the non-profit operations and programming of the York County Heritage Trust.
