The Golden Globes' Twitter confused Gina Rodriguez and America Ferrera

America Ferrera was one of four presenters for this morning's Golden Globes nominations announcements. At the ceremony, Gina Rodriguez nabbed her second nomination for her CW series Jane the Virgin, for which she won the trophy last year.

And apparently, someone managing the Golden Globes' social media during the announcements was having an embarrassingly hard time telling the two actresses apart.

Nope, that's America Ferrera:

The Golden Globes issued another tweet several minutes later using Ferrera's correct handle: 

But not before readers noticed the mistake.

Confusing two actresses on Twitter from an official account is embarrassing. But when those two actresses are two of the only Latina women to have a presence at the morning's announcements? Yikes.

Congratulations to Gina Rodriguez on her nomination — and let's hope this doesn't happen again when the actual Golden Globes roll around.
