'DWTS': Two couples got perfect scores, two got eliminated

On the last episode of Dancing with the Stars, Famous Dances Night, the routines were smokin', Footloose, and down right groovy, baby.

On Monday, the celebs and their pro partners danced Icons Night away. Here are our top 5 favorite numbers:

1. Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas

Paige and Mark's jive to Tina Turner's Proud Mary was red-hot. Seriously, judge Bruno Tonioli called it "almost illegally hot," and that was no exaggeration. Originally, we thought maybe time on the speed bag helped Paige master those quick steps, but she admitted to Erin Andrews that she had a Red Bull before performing.

Total score: 30

2. Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy

Ginger didn't like seeing her name at the bottom of the leaderboard last week. And, on Monday, she gave it her all during a Viennese waltz to I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston. Carrie Ann Inaba called their routine perfection, and it turned out that Ginger and Val got Nothing but 10s from the judges.

Total score: 30

3. Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd

Peta said that Nyle's comments last week were taken out of context, which really affected him during this week's rehearsals. She also said that she appreciates that Nyle strives to be as skilled as the professionals. This week, the partners danced a foxtrot to U2's Beautiful Day that was breathtaking.

Total score: 28

4. Wanyá Morris and Lindsay Arnold

Wanyá and Lindsay's foxtrot to Aretha Franklin's I Say A Little Prayer got them blessings on blessings from the judges. Bruno said it was done beautifully, and Len Goodman said the performance was very joyful.

Total score: 27

5. Kim Fields and Sasha Farber

Kim was pretty upset that she and Sasha didn't get any 9s last week. And what's the thing that Beyoncé never says? "Always stay gracious, best revenge is your paddles." So Kim dug deep for their samba to ABC by The Jackson 5, and Len said it was her best dance yet.

Total score: 27

Von Miller and Witney Carson danced a salsa to A Little Less Conversation by Elvis. Witney wasn't exactly sure who Elvis was, and it was adorably hilarious. Also, we love Von — have mercy!

For the first time, the team dances pitted the men against the women. The female celebs danced to a medley of songs by Beyoncé and got 25 points from the judges.

We were blown away by the Super Bad routine that the men performed to songs by "The Godfather of Soul" himself, James Brown. The male celebs earned 28 points for their dance.

The double-elimination

Sadly, we had to bid adieu to two couples on Monday. Kim and Sasha and Von and Witney had to hang up their dancing shoes. These stars and pros will be missed.

Now, only six couples remain in the competition, and the quarter-finals begin next week.

Catch it all when Dancing with the Stars airs Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
