'SNL': Fred Armisen is the worst 'New Girlfriend' and prep school teacher 'Mr. Bunting'

Fred Armisen is no stranger to SNL or sketch comedy -- he's so familiar, in fact, he wrote a one man show, Love, From New York, I Did Saturday's Right, about getting his start on the 17th floor stage, which he previewed in his monologue.

And as host of this season's finale, he put that experience to use as the New Girlfriend, Regine, who could rival the Girl You Don't Want To Start a Conversation With at A Party. Though hard to impress, she has uncomfortably strong, physical reactions to boyfriend Jason Sudeikis that make Aidy Bryant and Vanessa Bayer have to stop themselves from laughing in the middle of the sketch.

"Moet, wow, what are you celebrating? Averageness?"

Armisen also plays Mr. Bunting, who is being fired against the wishes of the prep school boy she had been teaching. Or rather, instructing how to rip out the pages of their poetry books and make paper hats. As he packs his personal belongings and goes to leave, the boys stand in protest, and Pete Davidson gets his head cut off by the fan and the sappy scene unexpectedly gets drenched in blood.

Okay bye Mr. Bunting! And season 41, we'll see you next time.
