It's happening: Netflix's 'Gilmore Girls' revival gets release date and fast-talking trailer

Where Lorelai and Rory Gilmore lead, we will follow. And they're leading us to our own living rooms on Nov. 25.

Yes the long-anticipated revival of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life will hit the streaming service at 3:01 a.m. ET/12:01 a.m. PT on Nov. 25, just in time for you to watch it with your mom over Thanksgiving. The new version of the series will be divided into four 90-minute "chapters," each spanning one season.

And not only did Netflix finally let you know what weekend you will be snacking on junk food while simultaneously crying tears of joy, they also dropped a teaser for the series which has all your favorite elements: Rory and Lorelai (Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham), together at the kitchen table, speed-talking and pop culture references. Watch for yourself.

What would Amy Schumer think of Lorelai? She answered herself on Twitter shortly after the trailer dropped.

And because the Internet is a magical place, Lauren Graham responded.

We love all this love. And we can't wait for more.

And if that's not enough to satisfy you, you can scroll through photos from the revival below. And you can read what Lauren Graham and the creators had to say about the revival here.
