Weekend plans: 'South Pacific,' Hard Pressed, Club Hippo

Each week, some York County locals share what they are doing this weekend. Some favor art, theater, craft beer, wine or music. Some simply like finding something different to do each week. Lyn Bergdoll (theater lady): I'm seeing 'South Pacific,' one of the best known musicals of all time, at Allenberry Playhouse this weekend. Having choreographed it several times, I am really looking forward to seeing this production!

JJ Sheffer (music lover): Saturday is the first Hard Pressed cider and wine event and it's already shaped up to be the biggest collection of cideries on the East Coast.

Kelley Gibson (local art and culture fan): Looking forward to attending the last disco dance party at Club Hippo in Baltimore on Saturday night. Not only will it be our last chance to dance in this landmark, it's a fundraiser for Aids Action Baltimore.

Mike and Sue Edmonds (will travel for fun): We've been invited by friends to attend the Eagles vs Ravens pre-season football game in Philly this weekend. We plan to be brave souls and wear Raven's purple and black into "The Linc."
