Downtown Inc launches York tours for kids
A new series of downtown York walking tours for kids will begin May 14 at Central Market.
A new series of downtown York walking tours for kids will begin 1 p.m. May 14 at Central Market, according to a news release from Downtown Inc.
The three-hour tour will feature stops at York City Pretzel Company, YorKitchen, Creative York and Sunrise Soap Company, according to the release.
Merchants and organizations were chosen to highlight kid-friendly programming they already have in place.
Participating kids will make a unique item to play with, take home or eat, including a personal pizza at YorKitchen and bath fizzies at Sunrise Soap, the release states.
The Kids Downtown Walking Tours joins Downtown Inc’s other tours, including the Hidden Art, Sweetest Pint and Spooky York walking tours.
Tickets are $20 per child and free for parents. Children must be accompanied by a parent of guardian.
