York City Pretzel offering pretzel sandwiches

Getting a pretzel sandwich in downtown York just got a bit easier.

York City Pretzel Company now offers pretzel sandwiches seven days a week. The company started sandwich catering in 2015 and, until this week, served sandwiches in the shop on an “as available” basis.

The sandwiches include ham, turkey or roast beef sliced thin on a fresh pretzel roll.

“A pretzel roll is ubiquitous in York County, but we feel ours is pretty special,” Philip Given, York City Pretzel president, said.
