A collection of rare glass will be auctioned off Oct. 29 at Keystone Auction LLC in York - including a complete, signed Tiffany lamp.

According to Gary Klinger, owner of Keystone Auction, a complete Tiffany lamp with a signed base and shade is a rare find. The value of the glass and bronze lamp, made around 1910, is between $15,000 and $20,000.

Louis Comfort Tiffany was an American artist and designer famous for his art glass and interior design during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He concentrated on the artistic qualities of impurities in glass.

Other glass curiosities that are part of the antique auction include a Tiffany Favrile glass vase and glass Quezal lamp shades that were produced by students of Tiffany. A stained glass window from a home in France and a bowl that was presented to Confederate Capt. William G. Welch, who commanded Gano's Guards in the Texas Calvary during the American Civil War, will also be part of the auction.

The Oct. 29 auction will be online at auctionsbykeystone.com and in person at Keystone Auction LLC at 218 E. Market St. in York.
