8th Grade Art Club to Exhibit at IceFest


CHAMBERSBURG - Students of the Chambersburg Area Middle School South’s 8th Grade Art Club will display works of art at PA Counseling Services, 75 S. Main St., Chambersburg, during IceFest. The exhibit will be open to the public 5-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, with a variety of crafts and games for children of all ages. The CAMS South 8th Grade Art Club was formed when art classes became unavailable for 8th graders, and is coordinated by Advisor/Art Teacher Amanda Cloud. "This is the fifth annual opportunity for the public to view the work of Chambersburg's eighth-grade students at IceFest." Cloud said, in a press release announcing the event. "I am very enthusiastic about showing everyone the quality of work these students can produce."

Pennsylvania Counseling Services provides counseling, therapy, and addiction treatment services for adults, children, and families across 10 Central PA Counties. The exhibit has been coordinated by the Council for the Arts of Chambersburg. For more information about the council call 717-264-6883.
