Paint Night: Spring Grove Area High School is calling all those interested in testing their hand at art. Instructor Connie Higgins will lead a step-by-step process in how to create a masterpiece March 24 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event is $40 and takes place at the high school, 1490 Roth's Church Road, Spring Grove. Downton Abbey Tea: Bring your appetite to indulge in a four-course meal including scones, salads, savories and dessert at a luncheon with special teas. The event will also feature a hat contest that will be judged in various categories. Annual Basket Bingo: Test your luck for a great cause March 20 at 2 p.m. at Porters Sideling Firehall, 1199 Porters Road, Spring Grove. All proceeds support the American Cancer Society's 2016 Relay for Life. Doors open at 12 p.m. and the event runs until 6 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Book Singing with Author Eric Wittenberg: Wittenberg will be signing copies of his book "The Devil's to Pay: John Buford at Gettysburg" on March 24 at 7 p.m. at the Grand Army of the Republic, 53 E. Middle St., Gettysburg. At this free event, Wittenberg will also speak on the actions of Buford's First Cavalry Division that took place July 1863.
