Comedian Kathleen Madigan coming to Gettysburg


Comedian Kathleen Madigan will bring her gut-busting standup act to the Majestic Theater in Gettysburg on May 21.

The award-winning comedian has appeared on "Last Comic Standing," "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "The Late Show with David Letterman,"  "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson." Called "easily one of the best comics alive" by the Blue Collar Comedy Tour's Ron White, Madigan has spent more than 25 years making crowds howl.

Madigan has released numerous comedy albums and shows, with her most recent being "Madigan Again," which iTunes dubbed one of the Best Comedy Albums of 2013. She has appeared in two HBO specials, three Comedy Central specials and three CMT Salute to the Troops Specials. Her hilarious commentary has also been featured on Dr. Phil, E!, TV Guide Network, VH1 and ESPN 2.

A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Madigan can be heard on Sirius XM radio and syndicated radio shows such as "The Bob and Tom Show" and "The Stephanie Miller Show." She has entertained crowds at festivals and theaters in Ireland, England and Australia and filmed shows at the Montreal Comedy Festival for Canadian television.

Free parking and shuttle service will be offered at the Gettysburg College's Constitution Parking Lot. The service begins an hour before the show and is ADA accessible. Metered parking is also available, as well as spaces in the basement and street levels of the Gettysburg Borough parking garage along Race Horse Alley.
