Destination ARTS! offers weekend events


WAYENSBORO - Singer-songwriter Brad Munn and potters Rod Meyer and Karri Benedict are among the artists and musicians featured in the April 28-May 1 weekend of events sponsored by Destination ARTS! in downtown Waynesboro.

On Friday, April 29, Munn will bring his guitar and fiddle to Gallery 50, 50 W. Main St., to perform his mix of bluegrass, country, and classic rock for Wine Down Friday from 5:30-8 p.m. Wine and light refreshments will be available. Rod Meyer and Karri Benedict will be working in clay and demonstrating how they create stoneware and decorative Raku pottery from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at 42 West ARTS Co-Op & Gallery, 42 W. Main St. The husband and wife team have been making pottery together for more than 37 years and own and operate Willow Creek Pottery. They produce functional pieces for the home that is lead-free and dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe. They are both juried members of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen.
