Who runs the 'Game of Thrones' world? Girls!

While much of the first three episodes of "Game of Thrones" season 6 have been consumed with talk of Jon Snow and his next move, episode four showcased the plethora of strong women throughout Westeros.

Whether it's Daenerys Targaryen in the East, Cersei in Kings Landing, or Sansa Stark in the North, the "Game of Thrones" women are at the top of the food chain.

Prepare for all spoilers from "Game of Thrones" season 6, episode 4, "The Book of the Stranger."

"Who run the world? GIRLS!" - Queen Bey

• Daenerys wins for the coolest entrance ever: Walking through the doors of a burning building, buck naked, in front of thousands of people. The only thing you can do in that situation is bow down to the Khaleesi.
• I was pretty accurate in my episode 3 recap when I said Daenerys had "the perfect opportunity to raise an army from those blood riders," but I'd be lying if I said I thought she'd burn the blood riders and take control of their armies.
• What a world of difference one season has made for Sansa. Last season, she couldn't help but be a weak accessory in Littlefinger and Ramsey's plots, but now she's running the show in the North, showing Jon how to be a great leader. Is running into a fight outnumbered a great idea? No, but at least she's standing up for something. #MakeWinterfellGreatAgain
• Much like Sansa had to keep Jon's spirits up, Margaery Tyrell had to keep her brother's spirits up while in the dungeons of the Faith Militant. Loras is right, he's never been strong-willed, and Margeary has shown time and time again why she's the real leader in her family. 
• Cersei Lannister and her power hair cut have officially flipped the script in King's Landing, turning a bad situation with her rivals into a great one for the Lannisters. She's always been the best ruler of Tywin's kids, even if she is a bit crazy. Only good things can come when the show plays "Reigns of Castemere" while panning to a Lannister.
• Yara Greyjoy will officially make her claim for the Iron Islands in next week's episode. While she doesn't necessarily need her brother's help, it certainly will persuade at least some people to be on her side.

• The talk between Jon and Sansa about the last few years must have been awkward, right? "Hey, Sansa, what have you been up to?" "Well, I got raped last month then jumped off a really high wall just to escape my captors. What about you?" "Oh you know, a bunch of dead people tried to kill me, then I got killed by my brothers and now I'm back. But hey, check out these cool scars!"
• Tyrion "Honest Abe" Lannister is doing his best to end slavery in Slaver's Bay with the seven years compromise. It's a wonder why the three ex-slave advisers aren't exactly cool with this plan. 
• If slavery is abolished in Slaver's Bay, do they have to change the name? That can't be cost effective... unless you make maps.
• It might seem like a singular act, but Osha's attempt to take out Ramsey bodes well for those hoping Ramsey gets a knife in the back later this season. I'd put money that the Karstarks and the Umbers both knew what Osha would be up to, except Ramsey is even more dangerous than they thought. 
• When Brienne saw Lady Melisandre again.
• Brienne of Tarth + Tormund Giantsbane = match made in "Game of Thrones" heaven.
