Photo winners displayed at Caledonia


FAYETTEVILLE - The Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation (PPFF), the only non-profit whose mission is Pennsylvania’s state parks and forests, will display the winning photographs from its 2015 Through the Seasons photo contest in Caledonia State Park, 101 Pine Grove Road, Fayetteville, July 8 – July 24, 2016.

The photos displayed were chosen from more than 350 photographs entered by both amateur and professional photographers. The display includes those awarded first and second and place by popular vote and a critics’ choice in six categories, including Capture the Season, Friends & Family Fun, Young Photographers, Black & White, Nature Up Close and Historical Gems. Also included in the photo display are two Best In Show photos, awarded by overall popular vote and critics’ choice. All photos are taken in a Pennsylvania state park or forest. One of the winning photos was taken in Caledonia State Park by Larry Laird.

The 2016 Through the Seasons photo contest details are available on PPFF’s website, PaParksandForests.org. The categories include some popular categories from past contests, as well as new ones, such as Fur, Feather, Fins & Scales and My Parks & Forests.
