Paws, Pubs & Grubs

Spring Grove's Community park will host an event this Sunday to unveil its newest additions.

One of those additions? A brand new dog park.

Food trucks, live music, a wine and beer garden and plenty of dogs will be in the park this weekend to celebrate its grand opening.

The free event goes from 3 to 7 p.m. Bring your family and friends, and don't forget your dog!

The 94th Annual South Mountain Fair

The South Mountain Fair is happening near Arendtsville until Aug 6.

With an admission price of only $7, this night full of unlimited carnival rides sounds like a steal to us.

Not only are there carnival rides for the kid in you, but there is plenty of music for the country lover as well.

T.G. Sheppard will perform Friday night, and the country-rock band Gravy will perform Saturday.

Codorus State Park

This state park is well known by the locals, and for good reason.

With over a dozen activities to choose from, you can spend your whole day at Codorus State Park and still be left wanting more.

And with temperatures in the high 80s yet again, the swimming pool is a must-visit on these hot August days.

Adams County Winery

Live on the Terrace is an event that everyone can enjoy, even those under 21.

Nick Andrew Staver, an artist with a new twist on blues music, will perform at the Adams County Winery this weekend.

The live music is free, but the food and wine will cost you a small fee. However, no reservation is required.

Just show up and be ready to enjoy some tunes.

The event runs from 1 to 4 p.m this Sunday. More information is available on the Adams County Winery website
