Acclaimed pianist to perform at WCMFA


HAGERSTOWN, MD - The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts will host Alexander Wu, pianist, performing his popular “Bach to the Future: Classical and Jazz” concert for the Perry/Brandenburg Recital  at 2:30 p.m.on Sunday, September 25, in the Bowman Gallery at the museum, 401 Museum Drive, Hagerstown, Maryland.

Wu, a Yamaha Piano Artist, has established himself as an eclectic performer in both the classical and jazz worlds. As a soloist, and with his chamber groups, he has given numerous concerts in the U.S. and abroad with performances at Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, Merkin Concert Hall, Bargemusic, Steinway Series at the Smithsonian, Mannes College, The New School, Bard College, Hofstra & City University of New York.

His solo CDs, "Bach to the Future" and "Rhythm Road across the Americas" have received rave reviews for adventurous music programming.
