Ready to get lost?

Area corn mazes are officially open and ready to take you on a twisty, windy adventure this fall.

Watch out for the yeti at an Expedition Everest-themed maze, solve the mystery of the missing farmer at a maze just for kids or — for a completely different experience — try one of the mazes by flashlight at night.

Here are some of the best corn mazes to visit in York, Lancaster, Lebanon and Adams counties.

YORK COUNTY

Maize Quest Fun Park

2885 New Park Road, New Park

Beware of the yeti along the twisting paths of the corn maze at Maize Quest Fun Park. The theme this year is Expedition Everest. On your journey to the top of the mountain, you’ll explore a Mount Everest base camp and a Buddhist monastery, all while answering questions, finding picture rubbings and decoding a secret word.

Admission is $12, and includes the corn maze and more than 30 Fun Park attractions, like an 80-foot slide, a jump pad, gem mining, games and a snack bar. A maze and train ride combo is also available for $15, and the super maze and train combo (maze, unlimited train rides, maize-o-vision glasses and a drink voucher) can be purchased for $18.

Bring a flashlight for Flashlight Nights on Fridays and Saturdays.

Hours: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 1-7 p.m. Sundays through Nov. 6. Holiday hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Family Tree Farm

4688 Dairy Road, Red Lion

Family Tree Farm’s 3-acre corn maze is more than a puzzle — it’s a mystery! Farmer Joe is missing, and seven farm animal suspects must be investigated. Your job? Collect all the clues in the maze and figure out “whodunit.” If you do, you’ll win a Farm Scene Investigator Badge.

Children ages 2-8 can also play Farm Tracks, a corn maze game played by following the tracks to find out who snuck off with Farmer Joe’s fresh baked apple pie.

Admission is $5.50 and includes a straw bale tube slide, a corn pool, paint-your-own pumpkin and dress-a-scarecrow activities and an apple slingshot. Children 2 and under are free.

Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays Oct. 1 through Oct. 30.

Flinchbaugh’s Orchard & Farm Market

110 Ducktown Road, Hellam

Don’t worry about getting lost for hours at Flinchbaugh’s Orchard & Farm Market. Its 5-acre corn maze — themed “Just Ride It” — is the perfect size for a quick 30-60 minute adventure.

Find all the stations in the maze, and you’ll win a free piece of fruit.

Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for children ages 3-12.

Hours: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday through Nov. 12.

LANCASTER COUNTY

Cherry Crest Adventure Farm

150 Cherry Hill Road, Ronks

Get lost in more than 2.5 miles of paths in the longest-running corn maze in the country. This year’s “Thank a Farmer”-themed adventure will take you through rows of corn stalks and across scenic bridges on a hunt for clues, kernels of knowledge, fun activities, photo opportunities and more.

The maze is great for all ages and is designed for easy, intermediate and difficult skill levels. Looking for a quick trip? Follow the “easy” trail markers for a 20 minute experience or the “intermediate” markers for a 45-minute experience. Or, if you’re really feeling adventurous, try the difficult path, which can take up to two hours or more.

Admission is $17 on weekdays and $20 on Saturdays and includes more than 50 farm fun activities, like a singing chicken show, pig races and pedal karts. Flashlight mazes also run from 7-10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Admission is $15 and includes a bonfire and wagon ride.

Oregon Dairy

2900 Oregon Pike, Lititz

Allow about an hour to go through the maze at Oregon Dairy. Along the way, you’ll find stations with fun facts about farming.

Regular admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 3-12. Flashlight mazes also run from dusk to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and cost $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 3-12.

A pebble toy box, replica milking cow, straw tunnel, bean bag toss, calf petting and food truck will also be available.

Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 1-7 p.m. Sundays through Oct. 30. Also open from noon to 5 p.m. on Columbus Day.

Country Barn Market

211 S. Donerville Road, Lancaster

You’ll find more than a corn maze at Country Barn Market. Once you complete the 5-acre maze – which celebrates the 150th birthday of the big yellow barn on property – cheer on the pigs at the pig races, take a wagon ride tour of the farm, fly down a giant tunnel slide, race through the pedal kart track, ride a pony and visit the farm animals.

And don’t forget to bring a flashlight for night-time mazes ($9).

Admission is $11 for ages 3 and up and includes more than 30 fun farm activities.

Hours: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Sundays and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays through Sept. 30; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays Oct. 1 through Nov. 4. Also open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Columbus Day.

LEBANON COUNTY

Risser-Marvel Farm Market

2425 Horseshoe Pike, Annville

Bring your band of “Merry Men” to the Robin Hood-themed maze at Risser-Marvel Farm Market. If you stop at all of the stations, the maze should take about an hour to complete.

Admission is $9.50 for adults and $7 for children ages 4-12.

Additional activities include rubber ducky races, a trike track, a hayride, cornhole, a corn sandbox and pedal karts.

Hours: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday through Sept. 30.; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 1-6 p.m. Sundays in October.

Seyfert’s Corn Maze

1800 E. King St., Lebanon

You can really get yourself lost in Seyfert’s 14-acre maze — one of the largest in the region. Its illuminated pathways allow guests to navigate their way through the maze by day or by night.

Flashlights and glow sticks will be available for purchase for evening visitors.

Admission is $8 and includes a scenic hayride through Seyfert’s 140-acre dairy farm, a duck race, picture boards, corn box and games. Children 5 and under are free.

Hours: 4-10 p.m. Fridays, 2-10 p.m. Saturdays and 2-9 p.m. Sundays from Sept. 23 through Oct. 30.

ADAMS COUNTY

Fields of Adventure

64 Tree Lane, Aspers

Travel back to medieval times in this year’s Knights and Dragons corn maze, where you’ll play educational games and learn fun facts about the time period along the way.

Admission is $9 for ages 3-64, $5 for seniors and free for children under 3.

Ziplining, pumpkin picking, pony rides, slingshots and concessions are also available for an additional fee.

Hours: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays and 1-7 p.m. Sundays in September; 6-10 p.m. Fridays 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays and 1-7 p.m. Sundays in October and November. Also open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Columbus Day.
