Oct. 11

James and the Giant Peach

Lancaster: Roald Dahl's fantastical tale of a boy, his insect friends, and their amazing journey across the ocean on a giant peach will run Oct. 11 through Nov. 11 at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, 510 Centerville Road. Dillsburg Farmers’ Fair

Dillsburg: Enjoy antique displays, flea markets, kids’ activities, games and more Oct. 10 through 15, with various events throughout downtown Dillsburg. Park Excursion

York Township: Take a 60-minute ride on a truck-pulled people-mover at at 10 a.m., 2 and 5 p.m. Oct. 13, meeting at the Brillhart Station Parking Area along Days Mill Road. Pass through historic Howard Tunnel, learn history involving the Civil War and watch for wildlife. Parks Program Coordinator Jeri Jones will be your host for this 8 mile ride. Cost is $10 person. Disney on Ice: Follow Your Heart

Hershey: Follow your heart straight to adventure Oct. 13 through 16 at the Giant Center, 550 W. Hersheypark Dr. Just keep swimming with Dory, cheer with the Emotions from Inside Out, travel to Arendelle, and celebrate kindness and friendship with Mickey, Minnie and all your Disney friends. Leg Up Farm Fall Festival

Mount Wolf: Don’t miss arts and crafts vendors, food, music and more from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 15 at Leg Up Farm, 4880 N. Sherman St. The event also includes an open house and silent auction.
