Drawing Room Gallery give-away June and July

GETTYSBURG >> The Drawing Room Gallery, a cooperative art gallery at 333 Baltimore St., in June began a monthly art give-away. Visitors to the Gallery may enter the drawing at no cost, with a chance to win an original work of art created by one of the gallery artists.

The winning ticket will be drawn on the last business day of each month. The winner need not be present to win and the gallery will ship to any location within the continental US.

The June give-away features an original oil painting, "Gettysburg Gold," by Claire Beadon Carnell, Gardners, to be chosen on June 28; an original colored pencil painting, "Burnside Bridge," by Amy Lindenberger, Gettysburg, will be offered in July, with the winner to be chosen July 31.

Now in its second season as a cooperative art gallery, The Drawing Room Gallery features works also by Chambersburg artist Anne Finucane and Charlotte Yealey, Hanover.

Gallery hours for July are 1 to 6 p.m. Thursdays, 1 to 8 Fridays and Saturdays and noon to 5 Sundays (from July 9-12, daily hours are noon to 5).
