Greencastle library hosts children's stuffed animal sleepover

GREENCASTLE >>Lilian S. Besore Memorial Library, 305 E. Baltimore St., will host area children's favorite stuffed animals for a one-night sleepover Aug. 14 through 15.

Each child may drop off a stuffed animal before 4:30 p.m. Aug. 14 to register the animal for a night of fun in the library.

On Aug 15, children are invited to join library staff and their stuffed animals at 9:30 a.m. for doughnuts and a slide show of the

all the fun the stuffed animals had.

At 10 a.m., the library will host its annual family chalk art contest. Chalk will be provided and prizes awarded to winners.

The theme for this year's contest is "Heroes."

Local children's book author Terry M. Fink and local illustrator Rebekah Joy Wakk will be this year's judges. They both will also sign copies of their book, "Sad King Benjamin."

Refreshments will be provided by Besore Library Friends Group.
