Lineup for Long's Park Summer Music Series in Lancaster


Looking for a fun way to spend your Sunday evenings this summer?

Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to Long’s Park Amphitheater Stage in Lancaster for free live music every Sunday from June 5 to Aug. 28.

Performances begin at 7:30 p.m.

The 13-week music series brings a variety of genres to the Long’s Park stage at 1441 Harrisburg Pike, including jazz, folk, soul, country, blues and Caribbean, according to a news release.

New this year is a three-week Saturday series in July featuring only local Lancaster-area acts.

Performances are held rain or shine.

June 12 – Banda Magda (folk)

June 19 – Allegro NextGen Orchestra (Lancaster’s chamber orchestra)

June 26 – Sammy Figueroa and the Latin Jazz Explosion (jazz)

July 3 – U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own” (patriotic)

July 10 – The Suffers (soul)

July 17 – Morgan James (jazz, soul)

July 24 – Alo Brasil (Brazilian, Caribbean)

July 31 – Pimps of Joytime (funk, soul, dance, pop)

Aug. 7 – MarchFourth Marching Band (part-circus act, part parade with New Orleans music)

Aug. 14 Daimh (Gaelic)

Aug. 21 Mike Stern Quartet (jazz)

Aug. 28 – Darlingside (Americana, roots, folk)

July 9 – J.C. Fetlock and The Love Bomb (blues, jazz, reggae)

July 16 (7 p.m.) – Stu Huggens with The Wild Hymns (country, folk)

July 23 – Amy Banks (Motown)
