Father's Day gift guide for the last-minute shopper

Just a friendly reminder, Father's Day is Sunday.

But don't panic. You still have time to pick up the perfect gift.

Here are some items you can find online or just a short drive away in downtown York.

For the beer lover

Kimman's Co., 57 N. Beaver St., sells several beer-related products that are perfect for a dad who loves craft brews.

Moonshine Growler ($44.95): This growler, made in Germany, makes a great gift for dads who frequent local breweries or like to make their own concoctions at home. The 2-liter container is made of aluminum alloy with stainless steel details and includes a gasket for a tight seal.

Cooling Pint Glass ($19.95): Stick this 16-oz. beer glass in the freezer or refrigerator, and when your dad's ready to have a beer, the glass will keep his beverage cold. The glass is equipped with a gray thermos band around the center so the heat from his hand won't affect the temperature of the beer.

Kombi Kooler ($589): According to Kimman's Co. owner Caroline Morris, this cooler shaped like a Volkswagen bus is the item every guy wants when they come in the store. It's made in Australia from recycled oil drums and features very intricate artistry.

So, why not go online and buy a pair of tickets for a game this summer? Or check out "100 Things Orioles Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die" by former York Daily Record sports reporter Dan Connolly. The book is $12.75 on Amazon.

"It is gorgeous and for the true aficionado," Kimman's Co. owner Caroline Morris said. The game also comes with instructions for beginners.
