Summer isn't over quite yet. There's still time to enjoy some fun summertime activities like parades, festivals and more.

Here are six things to do this weekend in York County.

Olde Tyme Days

Bring the kids to Old Tyme Days in Dover for some good old fashioned family fun. The festival includes a petting zoo, tractor pulls, hayrides, food, entertainment, displays of historic power equipment and children's games. Click here for more details.

Moonlight Boat Ride

Enjoy a quiet ride on Lake Redman while viewing the Perseid Meteor Shower from 1 to 5 a.m. Friday. The cost is $30 per couples using a County-owned boat or $20 per couple using a private boat. Additional individuals are $5. Click here for more details.

See a parade

The York County Fire Association Convention Parade steps off at 1 p.m. Saturday from the South Eastern School District campus, 377 Main St., Fawn Grove. The parade moves south toward Citizens Volunteer Fire Co.

See a play

Two new plays are opening in York this weekend. First, listen to your favorite Patsy Cline songs like "Anytime" and "Walkin' After Midnight" in "Always Patsy Cline" at York Little Theatre. The musical is told through the letters of one of Cline's biggest fans and friends Louise Serger. Click here for details.

Then, check out "The Mouse That Roared" at DreamWrights Youth and Family Theatre in York. The comedy tells the story of the misjudgments, miscalculations and misunderstandings that occur as Grand Fenwick declares war on the United States. Click here for details.

Go out for cocktails

Painting on the Deck

Sip some wine as you paint a colorful field of flowers from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Allegro Winery in Brogue. Free wine tasting is offered 30 to 40 minutes beforehand, and wine is available for purchase by the bottle or class. The class is $40 per person, and all supplies are included.
