'How Great Thou Art': Elvis Gospel Tribute: Lancaster: As a young man Elvis wanted nothing more than to sing bass in a gospel group. Hear hits such as "Peace In The Valley," "Amazing Grace," and of course the title track "How Great Thou Art" during a tribute at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 4 through 6 at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, 510 Centerville Road. Inspire at American Music Theatre: Lancaster: American Music Theatre's Original Show, Inspire, celebrates the moving power of music through the universal themes of Hope, Courage, Faith, Love, Freedom, and Joy, running through October 9 at American Music Theatre, 2425 Lincoln Highway East. National Apple Harvest Festival: Biglerville: Celebrate the best of the apple harvest from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. October 3 and 4, and October 10 and 11 at the South Mountain Fairgrounds, 615 Narrows Road, near historic Gettysburg. The festival is held rain or shine and includes hundreds of arts and crafts dealers, demonstrations, contests, food stands, and entertainment. Synchronized Little Mermaid: York: Get ready for an under the sea spectacular as the York YWCA Synchro-Ettes present The Little Mermaid at 1:30, 4:30, and 6:30 p.m. October 10 and 1, 3:30 and 6 p.m. October 11, performed in the water at the York YWCA Pool, 320 East Market Street. Synchronized swimming is an exciting and challenging sport that combines ballet and gymnastic moves. Admission is a $7 donation.
