Movies to see this weekend in York and Hanover

Three new movies are coming to York, Hanover and Gettysburg theaters this week:


This maritime adventure is the story of the 1820 New England whaling ship disaster that inspired Herman Melville’s “Moby-Dick.” Directed by Ron Howard, Chris Hemsworth, Benjamin Walker, Cillian Murphy and Ben Whishaw star. Rated PG-13. Playing at: Regal 13, Queensgate 13, R/C Hanover, R/C Gateway 8, Gettysburg 10.

Based on the true events of 2002, the Boston Globe's elite investigative team, called Spotlight, delves into claims of child-abuse against the Catholic Church. Mark Ruffalo, Michael Keaton, Rachel McAdams and Liev Schreiber star. Rated R, it is playing at Queensgate 13.
