What you missed at February's York Story Slam

Brad Jennings has done it again.

For the second consecutive time, the assistant managing editor for visuals at the York Daily Record received the highest score at York Story Slam Tuesday night – this time with a story about poop. (Not familiar with Story Slam? Find out what it’s all about here.)

Poop, puke and hangover stories were only to be expected when organizer JJ Sheffer announced this month’s theme would be “sick.”  And 12 storytellers at York’s second sold-out event delivered.

Since Jennings had already earned himself a spot in the Grand Slam to be held in November, runner-up David Weissman, business reporter at the York Dispatch, will take the second spot, according to a post on yorkstoryslam.com.

If you missed Tuesday’s Slam, watch some of the highlights below. For videos of all of Tuesday's participants, check out York Story Slam's YouTube page.
