Small Star Art House, an independent movie theater scheduled to open March 4 in York's WeCo neighborhood, has announced its first film.
In a Facebook post Friday afternoon, the theater's co-owner, Patti Stirk announced that the movie shown on March 4 will be "King Georges," which she described as a documentary about "food, passion, aging and art."
The documentary takes a look at a French restaurant in Philadelphia, Le Bec-Fin, which closed in 2013. Stirk said that guest speakers will also be at the theater for its opening night, which also falls on York's First Friday for March.
