FlipSidePA Panel picks: Things to do in York and beyond

Each week, some York County locals share what they are doing this weekend. Some favor art, theater, craft beer, wine or music. Some simply like finding something different to do each week. Whatever your interest, see what they're up to this weekend in March - it might help you plan your Friday or Saturday night. Want to join the panel? Tod Fogdall, usually at the Strand-Capitol: I'm looking forward to Weary Arts Group's production of "The Wiz" at Hannah Penn Middle School. It's the second and final weekend of the production.

Gretchen Kowalik, foodie: I'm celebrating my brother's birthday this weekend at a brewery. He gets to choose between Troegs, Iron Hill or Lancaster Brewing! My choice would be Troegs in Hershey, because I've never been and have heard good things.

Kelley Gibson, busy mom: Saturday, the girls will hop over to Pleasureville UMC's Easter Egg Hunt egg-stravaganza.

JJ Sheffer, loves adventure: On Saturday, I'll be crossing the river to Washington Boro to ride a portion of the Enola Low Grade Trail on my bike. It's a really nice rail trail along the Susquehanna River that dead-ends at an overlook above the Safe Harbor Dam. It's a ten-mile ride roundtrip on a wide gravel trail with observation platforms, benches, and several rock climbing areas.

Mike and Sue Edmonds, will travel for fun: We are planning to visit the Columbia Kettle Works on Friday for their Oysters and Live Music Night.  We'll probably also find time to do a little bit of antiquing while we're in Columbia.
